Miracle money - How God provided for Trevor Newport in Singapore I remember my first trip to Australia. I went with Peter Watkins and we went via Singapore and stayed there for five days. I felt that the Lord wanted us to stop there and so we did. This meant further expenses as usual. We had to have five nights in Singapore and seven nights in Sydney. I was then going on to Tasmania and Peter was flying home.

We arrived in the humid heat in Singapore and found a hotel. I had very little money with me and so I needed a Miracle. We rested the first day and then we made a telephone call to someone in the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship. peter made the contact and introduced me to the lady. I was asked to speak that night much to y pleasant surprise.

We went to speak at a house meeting (Methodist) and the people were very kind to us. However, they gave us no offering. We did not mention anything. Another lady said that she would take us the following day to another meeting that was full gospel. We went to another house group and we had awesome miracles, and they gave Peter and me an offering.

It was a start! We ended up speaking five times in five days. On the Sunday we had been invited to go to a church service where they already had a speaker. I love the way God uses situations to really stretch my faith. I felt that we should go there but in the natural I could not possibly be the speaker and hence lost my chance of an offering. I was still short of the money needed for Singapore let alone Sydney for seven nights.

We arrived in the meeting and it was full. There were pastors from many countires there besides us. The pastor asked me if I would spek for just five minutes. I began to give prophetic word for the church and said that it would take longer than five minutes but I stopped after my five minutes were over.

The visiting speaker motioned to the pastor that he did not want to speak but felt that I should speak. The pastor agreed and so I ended up taking the whole meeting. I spoke for about an hour and half, prayed for the pastors, prophesied over the people etc. Then the pastor took up an offering for us and the oney was enough to pay for the rest of our time in Singapore and also Sydney.
